Having your hotel or motel full one weekend each month with National Guard soldiers is a great way to improve your income and cash flow.
If your community has a Guard unit meeting for training in your area, you want them in your hotel! Soldiers on duty always want to be model guests. If they cause any trouble, they will be disciplined by their commanders! They never want this.
How do you do this?
Contact the Commander of your local National Guard unit and offer him or her a special package for all the personnel in that unit during their training which occurs one weekend every month.
You can fill your hotel or motel for at least 2 days every month with your local National Guard unit if you offer them special packages. These soldiers will often be working hard physically on both days of their training. On those days, you can put out a premium breakfast to see that they get started well. That is an excellent additional feature they and their commanders will especially appreciate.
